What Do The Sections Mean?
“Assets Currently in the Grayscale Product Family” lists digital assets held by a Grayscale Product as of January 24, 2022, either as part of a single-asset product like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, or a multi-asset product like Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund. “Assets Under Consideration” lists some digital assets that are not currently included in a Grayscale investment product, but that have come to our attention as part of our exploration of this sector, and that our team has identified as possible candidates for inclusion in a future investment product. Assets could be included in the Grayscale Product family without first being listed on this table. [For example, the digital assets included in our diversified Products are reviewed quarterly based on the rebalancing of their associated indices.]
With our most recent update in January 2022, we’ve added one additional asset to our product family column, and 25 assets to our assets under consideration column. We will continue to update this list as the digital asset ecosystem expands and we review additional assets.

The process of creating an investment product similar to the ones we already offer is a complex, multifaceted process. It requires significant review and consideration and is subject to our internal controls, custody arrangements, and regulatory considerations, among other things. Not every asset under consideration will be turned into one of our investment products and Grayscale may explore additional assets other than those included in the Assets Under Consideration table for inclusion in Grayscale Products. Similarly, assets could be included in the Grayscale Product family without first being listed on this table.
